Just married. October 6th, 2009
Today would have been our 12th wedding anniversary. John and I got married at the Plymouth State Park in Plymouth Vermont and on a beautiful fall day, much like today. My brother Julian video-recorded the event and compiled some great videos to share.
Present at the wedding were our immediate families, my parents, two of my siblings, John's parents, his brother, and one of his cousins with his wife, and of course the Justice of the Peace, who married us.
Part 1 - The Ceremony.
After the cake cutting and a toast with champagne, my brother David brought out the surprise gift, a tandem bike, which he and my brother Julian had transported all the way from Michigan to Vermont in a small VW GTI. It was a really fun surprise that even landed us with a picture in the local paper.

The wedding reception took place at the Moonshine Inn in Brownsville, VT, a small B&B owned by John's friend, Chris, who also cooked for us.
It was a delicious meal - see for yourself.
And a few days later, on October 14th, our picture was in the local paper.
